Meet Ryien

I’m Ryien—An LYH-based creative with hearing loss. My branding surrounding For The Deaf Girl and Simply Ryien is a celebration of my identity as a Deaf creative. I feel strongly about disability awareness and want to encourage others to get out there and do what they love.

My mentor refers to me as “multi-passionate”. Aka someone with a love for collecting hobbies—I work as a digital creator, stylist & disability advocate.

I am a wife to a handsome wedding DJ, and a cat mom of 4. Gilmore Girls is my comfort show, thrifting feels like sunshine, and my house is typically filled with fresh flowers. My kitchen is usually stocked with homemade gluten-free goodies to share with loved ones, as most Celiac girlies do! My favorite thing in the entire world is when someone compliments my cutie little hearing aids, especially after I’ve decorated them with flower stickers or sparkles!
