SAVENAC— Fine Jewelry Brand

A few summers ago I met with Lisa Harris, owner of SAVENAC, a locally owned fine jewelry brand, that is reinventing the family heirloom.

Think timeless, equestrian fine jewelry meets feminine country club details. I worked from my friend Sarah’s mood board and ran with it. I had the privilege of planning, sourcing, styling and coordinating this shoot. They were looking for a twist when it came to their normal masculine, classic, wintery aesthetic. Boonsboro set the scene perfectly with its rich colors and florals.

Personal shopping for this shoot was a dream. We sourced second-hand from a local estate shop except for one piece. We purchased a white blouse with a green floral print from Talbots—which I now own. We even got to repurpose a few vintage designer accessories from Lisa’s personal collection.

I contacted and met with our models ahead of time to piece together our outfits and discuss hairstyles and nail polish colors. We wanted the jewelry to be the statement piece, and nail polish plays a large role in that. We had a makeup artist on site the morning of and we walked through our vision for a natural yet elevated look.
